| This is ironic ! I was talking to Wally at Lumb bros today & he said " we do not have problems with umbilicals " ! Think his words are going to haunt him now . seriously give them a ring & ask (just point out the above statement he made not 30 minutes ago )

| If it's on the slip rings, I regularly have to give mine a rub down with a brillo pad or something similar. Everything just unscrews. MyM

| Clean the connections Clean the muck out from all the connections. That should fix things. My light has lighting up issues every couple of years, so I have to service it with a piece of tissue paper. |

| clean the rings that make the connection and should all work like new! if that still fails to work there may well be a break in the cable as ive had the same happen to me with an old umbilical i had ![]()

| hello john please call me on 0161-681-5790 to discuss your umbilical or mail me your number so i can contact you.but do not try and take it apart yourself.and as colin pointed out we do not get many problems with the umbilicals especially for the amount that are sold,but as with any product you can get fri afternoon umbilicals,call me and i will do my best to sort something out for you. cheers rob
