Metalsub used to run deals for Instructors, don't know if Simply Scuba run this scheme, but Mikes Warehouse allegedly is a part owner of the company. The only drawback is the lead time. I waited ages for mine but I am sure I got about 25% off.

Well CPS the uk importers have all the batteries & the HID 200 heads sat on their shelves ,at least they did this morning when I was in there !

I didn't think CPS could sell to Jo Bloggs Public??? I thought they were just wholesalers/distributors.

As already Mentioned, Mike Calder of Mikes Divestores is your best bet.

Take no notice of John he knows nothing ! You are correct CPS will NOT sell to general public , I only went down to see the new KL1256LED in the flesh & because it's 4 minutes down the road from me or over an hour to my LDS they obliged .

well i have ordered a hid 200 and 12v 9 amp battery tank and charger today,

hoping to get it tomorrow and diving out of teignmouth sunday so i shall give a full review on this lamp..

shall keep you posted...

What did you pay & where ? (pm if you'd rather )
I used a borrowed HID200 with 9amp today out of Dover & it is very good .I would say the beam spread is a good half way between my old Custom Divers 18 w Hid & the Salvo light saber effect ,it gives a definite "beam" but also has good halo on it .Power wise it is brilliant ,2 or 3 people commented that they saw it long long before they saw me & I only had it on half power ! Bit worried that after only 30 minutes the red battery power indicator led came on .
