I found sticking it in a bucket of very hot water and leaving it turned on for a while expanded the plastic just enough that if I gripped it between my thighs (missus!) with a pillow to stop the handle digging in, I could put enough torque on the lid to open it. | How to open your C-4 without tools (possibly) Take off the rubber cowl and try to unscrew when dry with dry hands - works a treat for my LC-100, which I had previously had loads of difficulty opening, having usually resorted to the use of a strap-wrench over the cowl. I do hope this helps......... |

| i never got mine open nearly broke the handle off and did mange to break the strap on one of those cobra lever things. its still in the bottom of my dive box to this day. |

| strap wrenchy things work well as does getting a mate to firmly grip the bezzle end whilst you hold onto the main body wih both hands and both turn like bu55ery in opposit directions. welcome to the club Snash
