Thumbs up SARTEK Torch - It's the Nads!!!

Just a wee, ahem, 'big up' for my new Sartek Torch!

Adjustable/focussable, 10 Watt HID, umbilical beasty! Lit up the wrecks, gullies, overhangs, swims-through and oceans of Abbs and Eyemouth on the last two trips (last month) a treat - 'twas like a scene from when the underwater aliens ascend from the Abyss, in the film of the same name! Burn time measured in days - I easily got four days out of one charge!

Simply put, it's the dog's bollocks.

I couldn't possibly repeat the price for which I acquired the beast, new; but I can say that I might strongly suggest that you have a word with Andy Hayhurst Esq. (DALESDIVER on here) and get in amongst it!

My Kowalski Speed 620 is now my back-up-wallah.

You'll have to speak to Andy H for the gravy on ££ mate, but yes, it is a Nimh battery and the burn-time is 4 hours. Here's the link:

http://www.sarind.com/acatalog/compl...g_systems.html

And the blurb (picture of the beasty is at the above site):

"CBPS4.5H10MRFS (U.S. Pat.# 6,679,619)
10 Watt Focusable HID System with 4.5AH NiMH Battery Pack in Screw Cap PVC Canister (Belt or Backplate Mount), HID10HC- Harness Clip, Protective Rubber Cover and Universal Trickle Charger (100-240 VAC). Burn Time 4 hours
U.S. Pat.# 6,679,619

MSRP $725.00"
