Thanks for posting that Mark. Personally I can't wait for reflector / optic design to catch up with the newer generation multi-die led's. The MB-SUB uses the Ostar led which is pretty old hat now in terms of efficiency, plus it's comparatively expensive. 21W gets you 1120 lumens, vs an SSC P7 which gives 800-900 lumens at around 11W, or a Cree MC-E which delivers around the same. Fraen, who make the reflectors used in the Ostar test lamp, also make reflectors for these newer leds in the same MR11 (35mm) format so I'd be surprised if Michael from MB-Sub wasn't already doing some testing.

You are right, there is some LED which are more efficient than the Ostar, but for me the brightness is more important. You can believe me, we are testing with LEDs which are not yet available.

Its 949Euro all in inc VAT direct from MB Sub

If you can purchase ex VAT their vat is 19% and ours is only 15% so slightly cheeper baught Ex vat and paid on import.

I dont know a UK retailer? MB Sub are an EU supplier so no problem with getting it shiped out to you.
