    Can anyone lend (or sell) me a torch?

    A cheeky punt here.

    Can anyone lend me a solid torch for the w/e of 18th-19th July?
    I've got an LS5 which I could use, but in bad vis it doesnt cut much mustard so ideally looking for something a fair bit brighter than that.

    Reason is I've had to send my primary back to its owner in Germany - it was a prototype super bright holiday torch, and certainly good enough for the majority of my diving to 36m.
    I'ts likely that I'll get sent a 1st run of a very nice thing to continue testing, but not for another 6 weeks or so.

    Is anyone south able to lend me a torch?

    Failing a lend I could buy something second hand and sell it again if it becomes surplus.......

    I said it was cheeky.

    I got one of these you can borrow. Tektite - LED Flashlights, LED Replacement Bulbs, Dive Lights, IR, Strobes, Marker Lights, UV, CSI, LZ kits, & Tekna Knives and lites if you like??? Cost me about £95 last year. More than welcome. Meet ya at the puddle one Wednesday??

    On the condition you lose you replace!!!

    Thats really kind of you Jules, but I have one of them - been using at as a backup - I'm really after borrowing something with a little more oomph if possible....

    I've got a metalsub 50w halogen if that's any good to you it's pretty good but not up there with salvos etc we'd just need to sort out the logistics of getting it back and forth but you're welcome to use it

    Wow, that'd be very cool.

    I wonder if anyones doing a Liverpool to London trip?
    Alternatively I can pay for postage - or use a courier from work.....

    Whatever is easiest for yourself I'll post if you like but it weighs quite a bit as in it could be used to support a wall I could probably meet in birmingham way one night/weekend I'm not back down in London till late August or i'd drop it off for you. Post up a request for "YD post" you have a week or 2 yet so lets see if we get it there for free
