| Most branches don't have enough people at that level to warrant doing all the training in-house. Its a lot of time for just one or two people. I did all the theory for AD last November in the West Mids region (which Cov is part of) and I think they run it every year. Not much help if you want to do it now, but if you get all the qualifying dives out of the way over this summer, do the lectures and stuff in November, then you'll be well on your way. Its a crap, very out of date website, but look at http://www.bsacwestmidlands.org/training.html and get in touch with the SDCO (contact details should be there) and see whats going on this year (I think that list on the website is from last year...). Alternatively, you might be able to get an instructor from your branch to just do the lessons whenever they have a spare hour or two - far easier to organise it like that than trying to make a big complicated schedule when there's only one or two people doing it!
