Trimix Training

Hi guys,

Where's the best centre to do a normoxic trimix course in the UK? Must be TDI or PSAI. Thinking of doing mine later this year if i got the holiday left or early next year.

I did mine at deep blue in plymouth, its a good course to do, pratice all your skills (mid-water and on bottom) before you go though as there can be a lot of task loading and go with an open mind and you should get a lot out of it.

More than anything have fun

Thumbs up Trimix

Did mine with Jack Ingle - lectures at his house in London, practical at the NDC at Chepstow - we kept being blown out of Littlehampton, so elected for a definite/will happen practical location

one of the other students did the theory with me at Jack's place and then their practical with Jack in the South China Seas

Hi there

I did mine with Jack Ingle at the NDC as well - definitely recommended.

Also you could try Mark Powell who posts on here a fair bit (when he's not diving). His website is www.dive-tech.co.uk

Mark's running a Red Sea trip in December including trimix diving and courses, which sounds a fine option. See this thread:

I have a couple of Trimix courses planned for the next few months.

I usually base my courses in Weymouth or at NDC if we are blown out. Theory is either in Guildford or at Weymouth/NDC during the course.

I'm a TDI and PSAI instructor so you can choose whichever agency you want.
