He was offered a FREE dive from 2 of the local dive boats. I personally think that chasey scared him off, as Paul and I are both very laid back divers

Hey Paul let's cut to the chase and park the egos for a bit.

As Andy and others have said, Lets assume you are a safe DO.
Let's also assume that same as many DO's who bend the rules
now and again, you do so with the knowledge that such
individuals are diving within there qualifications, albeit not
BSAC.

It happens, we all know it.

So instead of making it public that you &quot;bend&quot; the rules, why
not just be very quiet and get on with it. Public statements
like this dont do anything apart from putting your actions (or
lack of them) in the public domain.

And that has the potential to bite you in the ass!

Ok Mary, will stop posting about the subject. I was honestly
trying to get Paul to think about his postings in relation to his
position and actions as DO, in the light of recent events in
another club.
 
It might have come across as being adversarial, but it wasnt
meant to be.
