    It's not that long ago that I had to beg such a mouthpiece from a maternity department for such eventualities, the ambulance service didn't supply them!

    Points taken about it being given to divers however, although as with many things, the 'expert' in the scenario is the diver who I would expect to decline the offer. I accept pain can get us doing silly things though.

    My comment about being narked, I was thinking along the lines of a diver knowing better than the paramedic that they shouldn't accept the entonox, unless perhaps they weren't thinking straight post nark.

    I printed this out and have a laminated copy it in the boat in a kit box, had to do it for my rescuse dive course
