Rescue Course Passed

Well finally took the plunge

its gotta be one of the best courses i have done so far(not that i have done lots)

was a lot of hard work, but by far the best i have done so far.

Open Water Course May 04
Nitrox Course Sept 04
advanced Course Apr 05
Rescue Course Apr 06
250+ logged dives and rising

it really gets you to look in more detail on how you dive and how other people dive and the problems that can arise and hopefully how to re-act
to problems that happen not only on the surface but below it as well.

If you get the chance do the course, if nothing else it gives you an insight to how you dive yourself and its a great learning curve.

So where do i go from here: Well i intend to start on my DiveMaster later this year and any tips or hints would be received with thanks.

Dive Happy And Be Safe.

Tommy Gore.

Well done Tommy, I agree with everything you have said about the Rescue Course. So far it has been the course I have learnt most from.

I did my DM over the course of nearly a year as an Internship. This let me buidl up my skils and confidence slowly, but meant that all last summer I dived as a trainee, with trainees, and got little pleasure diving in for myself. It taught me my patience and tolerance levels when dealing with students.

This year I'm diving for pleasure! I think I did the DM course for my own achievement, more than anything else, and I still believe the Rescue Course taught me most about myself as a diver and looking out for others.

Congrats once again.

Congratulations Tommy,
Yes agree with the postings looking back the Rescue Diver course was the most enjoyable off All the PADI courses i've done.
