Ditto IF :-

a) Knife/net cutter/shears are considered as redundancy b/up OR do you need two of each?
b) Dry suit and wing is considered as redundancy b/up.

Not sure if twin 10s count as &quot;having redundancy&quot; because I plan on using most of it.

Same here plus:

Slate
Drop line

Loads of topside backups also as Matt pointed out.

One thing..
I think the term redundant is a misnomer, the best definition I could find is:

re·dun·dant &nbsp; &nbsp;( P ) &nbsp;Pronunciation Key &nbsp;(r-dndnt)
adj.

&nbsp; 1. Exceeding what is necessary or natural; superfluous.
&nbsp; 2. Needlessly wordy or repetitive in expression: a student paper filled with redundant phrases.
&nbsp; 3. Of or relating to linguistic redundancy.
&nbsp; 4. Chiefly British. Dismissed or laid off from work, as for being no longer needed.
&nbsp; 5. Electronics. Of or involving redundancy in electronic equipment.
&nbsp; 6. Of or involving redundancy in the transmission of messages.

A better term would be backup or secondary systems. IMHO of course &nbsp;

Stu.

Same as Dom other than the mask, and i saw a rather nice one the other day that folds very flat and will probably end up in my kit bag in the next few days.

Dive safe

<font color='#F52887'>Ok, here goes:
Manifolded twin 12's
Argon inflation (with a Airgun on a LP hose from my backgas, take it off the hose and the hose becomes a suit inflation hose when diving on air/nitrox)
any stages have spare whip too for the same reason
2 linecutters/knives
two torches
1 yellow, 1 red DSMB
Main reel
buddy reel backup
wreck reel (sometimes)
computer
D-timer and tables as backup
&quot;Big eyes&quot; mask in thigh pocket
last weekend I had to make use of 2 of my backup items, only ever had to use one before.

<font color='#000080'>Apparently the rule is, if it is essential, take 2. If it isn't don't take it at all.
