If you want all those specialities then that doesn't seem an unreasonable amount of money. A rescue course is usually around £250 with site entry fees on top so you're getting a lot for your money.

Aye, don't know about the dive centre, but it looks good value for money with the specialities thrown in..

Thats what i thought as dive centres close to me are charging about £250 for the course + £75-80 for the first aid bit and then entrance fees to capenwray and fuel costs etc seems a decent deal. Will nip down and see what the crack is.

I think Blue Lagoon would be a great location to do the Rescue course. I would ask how many people will be doing the course at the same time as I think you will get more from it if the ratio of Instructors to pupils is low.

    Cheers

IMHO, i think that a ratio of 4:1 is a really good ratio, allows a good bit of senarios to take place at the same time..... would make an interesting course

Whilst the price is good if you're not that experienced a diver then you might be better off just using the money to go diving. The rescue course is really good fun but I think you are better off leaving this until you're confident with your own skills in the water.

With that money I'd have a week in Sharm and get another 20 dives or so under my belt.
