Imported post Glad you and Fi arrived home safely squire. Yes indeed, an outstanding weekend all round - convivial company, a 'kin good laff had by all, decent nosebag (courtesy of raiding both La Hayhurst's lader and bins!!), Tim (for ever in your debt) Ingmire (Jamieson's, 20 year old, bottle, one, troops, for the distribution amongst...), Hodge Close - Cathedral-like in every sense, Tunnels, one, for the traversing of and banging of heads in, Chinese-food, feast, for the sharing of, 2Tanx, one, Landie, for the driving of (post afore mentioned 20 year old, consumption of), Wastwater and 30 metre viz and 'God's Country' scenery/tranquility, Driftwood and his everyready brews of any and all descriptions, Rob (all praise to) for the dedication and filling of the tanks until 03.00 hrs for the troops, the 'Kray Twins' for their easy affability and fine line in "aren't you cold?", Andy Hayhurst for the ability and patience to bind 17 students and then take them and teach them (and being a nasty bastard whilst 'pulling drills' on poor unsuspecting divers ;) and the loan of various 'dog-shelves' for the assemblage, Simon, Brett and Chris Fish for turning out to help out, Davey Willo for his 'Hand-cuffs Optional Symphony in E' (although points deducted for not being completely in all 'techie-black' during the event!), Mark, for actually scribing on his slate "What the Fcuk are you looking at?" when confused as to my fresh-water shrimp viewing antics.......and many, many more. No doubt there will be a fuller recounting of this weekend's events later, but I'm too shagged to go into it here. Night-night all. Sweet dreams and safe diving always. Cheers,

Imported post A great weekend - definitely one of our finest. For those of you who WEREN'T there, you have no idea what you missed (hehe, but you soon will when I get the video back from 2tanx - unless Mr Williamson sends me £50 by Friday!!). Top marks and a BIG thank-you to Andy Hayhurst and crew who ensured we all had an enjoyable and SAFE weekend. Good to meet up with you all and here's to the next YD jaunt - wherever it may be!!

Imported post Just a thought that might be a non-starter but what the ####? What about a YD xmas knees-up? Not particularly diving but a good old fashioned p*ss-up? Venue unimportant ... probably best closest to the majority but what d'ya say?

Imported post Be rude not to Gavster. Put me down for at least 2 seats!!! Suggested dates?? Venue irrelevant - will travel and have own tooth-brush!!

Imported post Jay, the money is in the post you blackmailing son of a bi.... Yeah I have to agree with whats been posted so far, an excellent weekend, infact a more than excellent weekend. My thanks go to Andy H and Rob for their marathon cylinder filling sessions which stretched into the early hours of the next day. Andy H and Rob again, plus Simon and Bret for looking after the troops both above and below the water. To all of the chaps and chappesse who turned up to make it a completely awesome session of madness and underwater skill sets, nice one all ;) Bren, who amused me all weekend.. Drifty, who confused me all weekend 2tanxs, top man as usual (you DIRer you!).. Jay, usual dry humoured and helpful self.. Gav and Fi, just awfully nice people in and out of the water.. Tim, well what can I say about Tim... Ben, thoroughly nice chap who's baby face would be welcomed in any long term male prison.. SteveW, nice bloke who happens to carry the worlds biggest dive torch.. Mark (Our kid) who chauffered me everywhere but who assisted in an attack on my very person and who shall therefore not get his socks and aftershave for xmas.. Duncan and Pete, who are not yet YDers but we hope we convinced em to sign up as they were both sound lads and really really funny. If I've missed anyone out plz forgive as I'm rushing this post and my mind can't think very quickly these days.... oh and a request to Andy H, Simon and Bret... please stop turning my effing air off, it scares the crap out of me....

Imported post Ok then, if we don't want this one to die on the vine we need suggestions of locations, dates and possible venues. We appear to have a mix of Scottish, Geordie other associated locales Boro', Durham etc, N Yorks and Lancs? Ideas?
