Was up at the house dive site on the 13th doing some dive master training. I was not in a 3mm shortie nor did I see any exotic species - unless you count the students...the entry point for Cathedral was a bit lively so we had a couple of spins round Seagull Rock Water temp is about 7 degrees and viz a respectable 4m but the surge is pronounced - seasickness pills required! Anyway, just thought I should point out that we're not all diving in foreign climes!

Hi ya Paul - Just because some of us have been exotic dipping doesn't mean that we've forgotten the old stamping ground. In fact I was out at Abbs only a few hours ago and I'll be back there in a few more hours.

No surge today - flat calm - bloody cold on surface.

Mmm! I'm envious. Pool training until the end of February but after that I'll be gagging for a dive or 3 somewhere if anyone fancies it
