Hey Iestyn, in that picky on your profile you're wearing a drysuit l had a great weekend, Planned eight dives, did seven, two excellent, one V.good, two good and two crap, the 2nd dive monday being one of the crap ones. The funniest moment of the weekend? either the landlady of the b&b thinking l was a policeman because l had an "air of authority about me" Best dives, the Lariston and the secret one Top YDer of the weekend, started off being the Honeyman (Nick) but Janos was really trying with the penguins. but it has to be Iestyn, the well 'ard (or mad)Welshman in the semi. Every time my feet or fingers got cold l thought of him. Fiona and Blainaid, great girls but please stop using your tongues when kissing me, a gentle peck on the cheek is all thats required. Lou, thanks for the compliment, believing that l would fit into your drysuit, which l did , just. After a weekend of mostly wet dry suit dives, l'm thinking of retiring my drysuit- any reasonable offer accepted. Digs- thanks for keeping the skipper, my buddy and l company at the bar untill 3 am on Sunday am, Andy, the next time l'm on your boat will be the 30th May, hope your boys won't be too upset not seeing me for seven weeks.

| Imported post <font color='#000080'>Might I suggest that following Diggers policies on kit selling might indicate that e-bay is the best place to sell knackered kit. You'll certainly get the best price for it there, although, that said, when I sold the drysuit in question in the picture on e-bay I only got about £50. It leaked so much it may as well have been a thick ungainly semi-dry, I was brutally honest about it in the advert and was glad to get anything for it though. |

| Imported post A good few days diving, some very good weather ( what a surprise for a bank holiday weekend !) and good company as well as some good wrecks, the Laristan (and next door neighbour Denbighshire when you can find it) are probably my favourite of the inshore wrecks. Monday afternoon's dive was a shame to end on but these thing's happen some times. And Blanaid...........no the dive at Brighton was'nt all that good,a silty 2m at best on the Ramsgarth..........i saw the same trawl net about 5 times...........round and round in circle's. Alan

| Imported post I'm still trying to work out how I racked up a dive time of 17 minutes on the monday afternoon dive, when all Chris and I did was go down the line, look at the seabed, then come straight back up again. Even though we did a slow descent and a very slow ascent with long safety stops, I only seem to remember being at depth for about 30 seconds. However, the computer reckons it was about 4-5 minutes. Suspect I may have been thoroughly narked, so if there had been a wreck down there I probably wouldn't have seen it anyway!

Friday- Lariston Pomerania Saturday-Anglia ?, abandoned due to viz Sunday- New Comet Monday- HMS Aries ?, missed wreck so drift Anyone think anything different, Andy must have the definitive answer |
