This left Richard Everret and I.
We dived a new wreck for us - the Nunima - a huge steamer with a cargo of iron ore which sank in 1903. She is relatively intact and sits on the sea bed at approx 33m but is up to 12m proud.
Sadly the viz was <1m but Richard and I braved it out for 30 minutes before ascending.
It was all made worthwhile when we got back on the boat to be greeted with hot dogs in buns with onions and tomatoe sauce. Yummy!!
This is my 26th dive off Taurus this year and there is still time to fit in another one or two
Happy diving
Chris
Taken from his clubs website, this is the dive he did today 9/12/04

Sea was flat , sun was out , until we got outside the harbour and the fog followed us But the 3 of us enjoyed the trip

Why is the vis so pants out of Dover at the moment? I'm not taking the piss, I really am wondering - because it's been really good down on the Sussex coast.

Is it crap being washed down out of the Thames, or what?

We've still got great vis, but it's not a necessity for a good day out, well done Andy!

It's all you buggers down there with :CBC: CRAP BUOYANCY CONTROL

Kicking it all up and the tide brings it up here.

We were in the same position as Sunday, when Simon ( Paowan ) says " viz was 1 - 3 mts in place "..... NOW thats a shock to her him say that.

Crap viz was made up by a good day out , and after dive hotdogs better than working , anyday
