The morning after the night before.......

Not quite the drunken report you were expecting at 3am but never the less a trip report. We are all up and alive......just. Sausage butties about to be made!

Apparently Jay was set about by 10 thugs..... or thats his excuse but we have reliable information that he fell over on a pedestrian crossing and bitten viciously by the tarmac!!! This was after he went to lean on the pool table and realised it wasn;t there. No joke flat on his back in the bar!

Ian AirAssisted provided gratuitous nudity, got his baps out for the laaaaadeeees. Whilst there was a no holds barred distraction methods at playing pool!!

Drugs were not required as Bren's glasses went around providing endless amusement.

I got wupped at pool about three times (actually can't remember how many times) but I can safey say that one of those times was onyl due to 2Tanx moving the balls.

Everyone is lovely, much hugging went on, and there was a bit of mutual loving on the pool table by the mods!!!! We are unsure of the status of bodily fluids!!

Digger broke the rules and fell asleep on anyone who would stay stilll long enough!!
Oh my god my head hurts and I need a brew.

If any of the other atendees woud like to fill in more of the blanks for us..... please do.

If the other gigs are HALF as good as this one then you will have the best time of your life, but nothing with ever beat the "Full tilt boogey mad non adhereance to the shandy code" NORTHERN CHRISTMAS DO!!!

Any news on Jays face after it connected with the floor? Is he OK?? Has he recovered the use of his knees after he spent most of the night walking around unable to bend his legs for some bizarre reason!!!!!

Porg just finished off the chocolate trifle from last nights tea!!!!

No news on Jay when I left the hotel at 11... I know that they were going to leave early. I saw Allun, Ian and Sue at breakfast but no-one knew anything... He was dispatched to bed as soon as we arrived back at the hotel last night...

Just got home 2 hours journey straight down M1 not a bad run.... thinking returning to bed might be a good idea.

Vaguely remembered highlights were definitely: -

* Andy2Tanx's stealing the pool balls from the table
* Jay and Andy2Tanx playing pool wearing Bren's glasses
* Jay just dropping to the floor by the pool table
* Mod-Bonding sessions
* Diggs falling asleep
* Andy2Tanx and Sweep demonstrating how purple fluffy wobbly headband thingys should be worn
* Ian being the only one to get his baps out
* Girlie bonding sessions over Pierce Brosnan
* Bantam's astounding music knowledge (i want your i-pod please)
* The miserable woman serving behind the bar
* Horrendous dancing
* Being dripped on if you stood by the wall
* And Porg, bird, we didn't get us a nice brass porthole

We finally got back to the Hilton about 2... i left various people in the bar and headed off to bed. Ickle angels need their sleep!

Thanks for a top night.... you are all loverly people.... and hours of amusement and merriment were had by all...

I must admit that I sobered up quite quickly when he fell over.. he went down with quite a thump and wasn't sure if he'd hit his head
