Well, I'm easy, but I get the feeling knowing most of you lot that an apartment would make sense, means by the sound of it we have the place to ourselves (see Digger removing the temptation of the ladies there?) and also I can walk around naked. OK, I won't walk around naked.

And if the price is cheaper even by a few quid that's a few pints in my back pocket. But I'm ok to do whatever suits.

You won't find yourselves wet after a days diving, but if there are suits coming back etc. I'd say go with the apartments. And also that means I can get a few Keo's in at the end of the day on the balcony. Mmmm... I love holidays...

Hi all,

I had a long chat with Rob at LIDS to sort out all the final details. I've included as many details as I can below. If there are any other questions or anything you want changed from the options below then just shout.

We will have 1 x 7 seater and the dive centre's 4WD for transport to/from the airport and to/from the boat each day.

I'm expecting to meet the following from their flights on Thur 21st April;
Mark Chase - CY327
John Touhig - BA662
Juzz - BA662
Blainad - BA662
Digger - BA662

Howard, Fin, Caroline and Rich I'm assuming you will make your own travel arrangements from the airport but let me know if thats's not the case.

The rough agenda for each day will be;
07:00 - Leave dive centre
08:00 - Arrive at boat
09:00 - Boat depart
09:12 - Arrive dive site!
14:00 - Buffet lunch on board after diving
16:00 - Back at dive centre

We have the option of doing two dives a day, one very long dive or something in between.

My suggestion would be that on the first day we do two orientation dives, one at the bow and one at the stern to get a feel for the wreck and check out weighting, etc and then leave it to you guys to plan your own dives

Water temp is going to be between 17 and 20 deg C so a drysuit and thin undersuit would be ideal if you are planning on doing long dives.

A permanent shotline and deco trapeze is on the wreck and we will have a drop tank of deco mix on the boat. There is also O2 available on the boat. Rob will act as support diver if required.

Accomodation will be in appartments that are a few minutes from the dive centre. These are going to be more diver friendly. Breakfast is not supplied so I will get rolls/pastries or whatever is available so that we can have breakfast on the trip to the boat.

There are a number of nice bars/restaurants in the area and Rob is arranging some discounts for us.

Accomodation is booked for;
Mark Powell
Mark Chase
John Touhig
Juzz
Blainad
Digger

Again Caroline, Rich, Fin and Howard I'm assuming your accom is sorted but let me know if not.

Below is what I've booked for everyone;
1 - Mark Powell - 2x10, 1x7
2 - Mark Chase - 2x3, 1x7
3 - Finbar Taylor - 2x3
4 - John Touhig aka Gas Muncher - 2x12, 1x7
5 - Juz - 2x3, 1x7
6 - Blanaid aka Divegyrl - 2x12, 1x7
7 - Caroline (Spider) - 2x12, 1x7
8 - Rich - 2x12, 1x7
9 - Howard aka Diving Dude (diving only) - 2x12, 1x7
10- Mr Digger - 2x12, 1x7

If one of you would prefer 10s to 12s then I'm happy to swap as we now have all of Robs twinsets booked. I'm assuming that you will bring your own regs but let me know if you want to also hire regs for the twins or stages. All stages will be steel.

I think that's everything, any other questions just shout.

MARK, ARE THE SEVENS(Well you did say shout) rigged as stages or do we need to bring stage rigging kits?

This trip will be a blast.

Providing we can shut the YBOD divers up.

We on OC are still the majority.....he..he..he

By the way, nice to meet you on Saturday at LIDS.

They should be rigged as stages but I will confirm with Rob.

Good to meet you too.
