Dive-Tech trip to Cyprus for the Zenobia - Friday 22nd - Monday 25th April

After polling interest I think that the best dates to go for are Friday 22nd - Monday 25th April.

If this trip fills up then I might arrange another for the weekend before.

We will travel on Thursday and then dive Friday, Saturday and Sunday, returning on Monday.

The aim of the weekend will be to get several dives on the Zenobia

We would be diving with Rob Jones's dive centre, Dive-Tek Cyprus.

I will organise the diving, transport to/from Larnaca airport, transport to/from the boat each day, lunch on the boat and accomodation (B&B) if required. If you don't need accomodation or want to arrange your own then just let me know. Non divers are welcome and the hotel is right on the beach.

You will be responsible for your flights, evening meals, any additional equipment you hire from DiveTekCyprus and your fills.

BA Air Miles have availability for this weekend if you have enough air miles.

The cost will be;
Diving and accomodation - £255
Diving, no accomodation - £132
Non Diver with accomodation - £165

There are a few questions we need to get answered first, do the centre hire 3L cylinders for KATO, & lime?
I've sent an e-mail, as I'll need to hire twins out there, but at the moment count us in.

The centre is very rebreather friendly as they run Inspiration and Draeger courses there so they will hire 3l cylinders and can provide lime, although they only have 3 full sets of inspiration cylinders. As Mark, Andy and Juz will be on inspirations then this means anyone else on an inspiration will have to let me know in advance so that we can arrange additional cylinders. The prices are 3l rental at £2 each per day, or £3 both. O2 fill at £2, Dil fills dependant on mix. Lime around £12-15 per fill. Prices are in Cypriot pounds so divide by approx 0.83 to convert to UK £.

They will also hire twinsets, stages, O2 regs.

Oxygen and helium are also available.

I see a few of you may be needing other kit, esp. cylinders. If you could drop me a line as to your rough requirements, it will let me know what I need to organise here, and if we're short of anything - don't want to disappoint on the day, it's a long way back for you to pick it up....
