Maybe Clare is referring to the first dive? We went in as supposedly two buddy teams of two and And as videographer. I believe Clare had a minor weight problem and couldnt get down too quick. My buddy and I dropped and found a load of newbies flapping about so decided to head off towards the Staney to get out of their way. a minute or so into the dive I was aware we had lost the other 3, I assumed my buddy would hold up and wait, but he didnt and as we had agreed to meet up at the Staney he finned off, me in close attendance as a buddy should. Never saw the others again. Sorry.

Sweetie - if only it were that simple!

Of course you did right to stick with your buddy. I found out about the buddy system when I tried to dump air from the cuff dump in my new drysuit on ascent yesterday. Slight problem is my new suit doesn't have a cuff dump. Daz and And stuck by me (well hung on like grim death really)!

Good day alround, I couldn't dive though, so I moaned all day I then committed a terrible crime against Woz's snorkel (kindly provided for the race in the Three Wheatsheaves), I BLAME THE DRUGS!

Anyway, I'm sorry I didn't meet more YDers, those that I did meet were lovely, and it was great meeting you. Howard (Diving Dude) has inspired me with his dive gear

Well the lowlight of the day was seeing Lou and the results of the accident. Ow.

But the highlights included meeting YDers for the first time (especially Janos on Team Lego), watching a very gay Mini convertible get packed with 2 sets of kit and in the evening suggesting to Digger that he called 118118 to see where he could hire out some dwarves and him actually calling them. "No no I am after a dwarf specific casting agency". My sides were hurting with the laughter. And he also drank something Porg bought for him that looked suspiciously like "man fat".

And Ali_Mc owes me a new snorkel.
