First outing with a twinset or a pleasant evening in Wraysbury

Yesterday finally got my twinset wet in Wraysbury. Nice that the place opens late on a Wednesday now. Perfect for fiddling with new bits of kit.
I was really surprised about how comfortable it is actually diving with a wing and twinset (note diving not carrying). Few things to sort out with configuration specifically must get a crotch strap Got out with my waist strap round my chest, Lesson learnt already.

Anyway thanks to Simon A for agreeing to jump in with me and watch me wobble from side to side.

Also thanks to Schford for letting us ooo and arrrr over his rebreather. Talking a whole other language I haven't even begun to understand.

Anyway back there next Wednesday, might be in need a buddy if anyone local can make it down. More kit fondling to do (sorry woz for stealing the Trademark)

Was a great little dive - at least I didnt manage to get us hopelessly lost!

For your first time on a twinset sure was good bouyancy control!

Thanks for posting that, I'll be doing my first twins dive tomorrow at guildy. If you are in the area and fancy a splash come along.

I think we are both on the same Advnitrox and Deco course a bit later on, so we have a lot of practising to do

Conor, I think we are on the same course. I would love to come along tomorrow, but the briney beckons, heading down to Portland, back on the single & a pony but the opportunity to dive cannot be passed up. Back to the twins on Wednesday evenings at Wraysbury for the next couple of weeks though. If you are happen to be in the area, let me know

I can understand that, sea versus guildy, not much of a competition. Not sure if I'll be able to make Wraysbury for a weekday evening from cambridge, but hopefully we'll manage to meet up before the course.
