Smile Loch Long - A frames

I met up with Dave & Josie Crampton today and jolly nice people they are too. I was test diving Dave's Typhoon Neo drysuit and I'm pleased to say that it fits (just, gym this week methinks) and the deal was done. Dave & I had a nice half hour bimble so I could test the suit and my YBOD freshly back from APD and both worked admirably, which is more than can be said for my buoyancy control, more practice in drysuit required ASAP.

That's my Scottish water virginity gone now and to be honest it wasn't as cold as I expected although I might investigate some 3 finger mits as my hands were a tad chilly.

Thumbs up Hi There,

Hey Ian,

It was very nice to meet up with you. I'm glad you enjoyed your first Scottish dive. I can't promise that the weather will be THAT FANTASTIC every time, though it usually is. It was a pleasure to dive with you, and I'm looking forward to our next dive. Enjoy this fine diving in Scottish waters while you can. I hear the water off Canary Whalf can be a bit Sh*tty!!

Next time ;-)

Dave & Josie

Mmmm now I'm wondering was it Dave and Josie I met up with a Loch Long on Sunday morning of the 17th April at Conger Alley? Well if it was you thanks for all the info esp. the bit about how to slow the traffic down, that was a right laugh

Steve
