Answer: better dead and red! (only joking )

A local 17yr old spent a fortune on pots, ropes, bouys and bait and fished them for 18mths. Kept throwing the blue ones back thinking there was something wrong with them! - true story!

Went to Dorothea first, so you need to know what wild life you missed!

One large Crane was spotted at about 33m, though it appears dead. Ascending the drop off to about 12m a huge dinosaur threateningly peers downward it's articulated limbs dangling loosely. Take care not to wake it when passing its rear end as giant spines are ready to impale the unwary.

Later that day at Trefor. TonyXXXX and I sought in vain the greater hairy faced creature with bioluminescent sword and twin air sacks upon it's back, but fear we missed it on this occasion.

How are the currents round there??
Neil M,

The link John gave you is excellent for really accurate short-term predictions (unless you pay for the full-on service).

Something else to consider is produce a rough draft of when the neaps/springs fall (for leave from work planning purposes), and then use John's link for the fine-tuning. BTW - when I say "rough draft" I mean +/- 2hrs.

I'd have a look at www.nbi.ac.uk/appl/liverpool.html - which gives the tides for Liverpool; then use http://waleslive.com/wales/tide.htm to give you a "local" adjustment for the bit of coast you're considering diving.

Hope this helps.

PS - John is right - don't forget the GMT / BSt issue
