| Hi All, after reports and pictures from Tim Ingmire and me newly joining YD, I thought its time to say my bit about diving in Teneriffe. my buddy Alun Bidmead booked diving and accomodation and I did not really know or care much about where I was going, until Alun discovered he lost his passport and could not make the trip... On arrival in Teneriffe I was greeted at the airport by Rebecca from Ocean Quest Divers. Her partner Michael runs the underwater show and took us diving the next day. Ocean Quest prefer small groups and there were never more then 4 of us in the water on any dive. On day three we were joined by Tim and his impressive camera. As I have just discovered the joys of underwater photography myself, Tim and I quickly got into serious competition for the best spot and the best motif! Michael and Rebecca were absolutely awesome, really looked after us, always had cold beer in the frigde and did not mind us sitting in their living room until late, doing "dive talk". There was lots to see in the water and the divesites where easy to get to and easy to dive. According to Michael, he had a boat before he had a bicycle and when you see the man in the water, you do not doubt it for one second! The accomodation was very good and far away from the hustle and bustle of Las Americas, where the actual dive centre is situated. I am already planning another week in Teneriffe later in the year and can only recommend Ocean Quest. They were friendly and professional and made my stay in teneriffe an absolute pleasure! Next I will try diving in Cologne where I live. I hear they have some nice quarries nearby... |

| Hi Norman, It was a pleasure diving with you mate. I reckon on the face kicking competition you're up by one - how about a re-match? If you want to post some piccies, there is a sticky on the photography forum explaining how to do it. Let us know if you have any further probs. Tim
