top report Soggy

makes me want to dive scapa ....instead of ferrying you lot around all season
laffs

anyway i would agree that the wrecks are deep and cold ....not a problem for the first few days but remember this is usually a week long destination and the red sea it aint ....thursday is the deco day ...with your computer getting antsy about your obligations and by friday your no fly time looks like a third world contries debt !
(political statement there)

So my message is to be aware of the cumulative effects of a weeks deep diving but enjoy scapa !
Im not going to disagree with anything said about the boats mentioned here cos I happen to like all of the other skippers up here
(good thing about the invincible is you can see her for blooming miles ....literally)
(the bad thing is she dosnt do pin point pickups and drops like us smaller boats can )

anyway ... come back soon soggy ......!

tc
Hazel

Good point, well made on the cumulative effect. We shall take note, and take a break if needed.

As for pick-ups and drop offs....does that mean we need to swim ?

You must consider this top advise, we used rich Nitrox throughout, 40% each afternoon, then generally an air top which gave us our correct mix for the next day. If you know what bar to breath down to on the afternoon dive it all works well Ask the gas blender to show you his/her table.

We dived the Brummer and Koln for the 2nd time each on the Thursday (This is diving at its best on a day we should have been taking it easy ), i had 61min to a max of 33m on the Brummer (15min deco) on 31% and then 45min to a max of 29m (not the bottom) on 38% on the Koln in the afternoon with a 3 min safety stop.

And some outstanding penetration on both but thats another story

Friday we did the Markgraf 83min to a max of 44m on 27% with 51% for deco, and finished on the Tabarca 35min to 17m on 40%.

Not a DCI sign or symptom in sight
