Cool, thanks! Criccieth is where my old boss lives! So know the beachs there pretty well. Don't mind driving up to Anglesey, especially since they built the new road between Porthmadog and Caernarfon. Before they did it the drive was pretty slow going, but now, despite being the same as a *southern B road* it's a good run through with a few places to overtake if you have the normal 30 mph drivers on it!
Did you see the BBC2 *Coast* programme about your area? It was on a few weeks ago? That showed the drift in the menai straights and also mentioned about the 2 bridges. Brought a tear to my eye remembering my old home!
Thanks for the info! I will investigate more tomorrow when I'm at work! Just off for a panad now!
