I love "My Little Dolphin" - and hopefully soon it will have a KISS accessory!

very nice report, not jealous at all!

there seems to be a growing band of kiss enthusiasts

i know the biggest thing that puts me (and others) off, is this "put it together yourself" mentality - i wonder how many sales jetsam lose through this?

Well I've heard that an inspo comes ready to dive, even with the scrubber packed.
That could well be folklore, but on any of the courses, I would imageing that you get a pretty good stripdown and build up before you get in the water with it.

Were I to buy one 2nd-hand, I'd also do this, as we did with Smudger's.

The nice thing about the Kiss is that you CAN do a complete rebuild if you want, whereas I get the impression that there are certain parts of the Inspo mainteneance that AP prefer to do themselves.

I think that is a benefit rather than a problem. Maybe it's just me but I like to know exactly how something works and how it all fits together.

Mind you having said that, I'm convinced that Zak would assist if offered some cheap wine and the offer of a small farmyard animal

Well my unit is probably one of the most complex available but this was all covered on my MOD1 course.....mainly as a result of having the designer/builder making his IT student demonstrate it all to me.

I don't necessarily see a units complexity being a major issue as long as you are taught how to handle all the possible failure scenarios adequately.
