Mind you hopefully you have all the bad stuff behing you and the good stuff is impending and will arrive when you reach Scrabster :-)
I'm hoping there's no nets on the Scapa Wrecks, if there are the fishermen up that way need help!

Might have some new stuff to tet in Scapa, it's ideal as I'll be diving often enough to make minor tweaks and tweak them back when they're crap.

On a totally independant note, I've just taken the manifold off my KISS, and it's a whole lot better. Neater I think. Tomorrow is cells and displays day, and friday will be backups and batteries day. After all that the unit should be good to go, and the rest of my gear sorted. No use being a skinflint about it, there's money to be spent and I'm the man to do it. It's a nice feeling when everything works, but doesn't seem to happen often to me

Another resembled remark! I am perfectly capable of breaking any item of dive gear, and geting it working well enough to keep me alive a bit. That is why I am team engineer and rebreather master technician. It says so on my fisher price tools.

I think I'll throw the sidemount harness in just in case - but it wouldn't be a Scapa Trip if the breather didn't break at least once!!!

My hands are up, but I am OC

For those of you who are thinking that Digger is now a new man having fixed one of the two failing readouts, should know that it was done with an old cell from another diver who was going to throw it away. I had to persuade Diggs that it would be better to have at least 2 readouts working then just one and use it.

I still reckon the old cell that was being chucked by Chris was newer then any of the ones in Diggs unit. The cell that was removed looked more beyond it sell by date than teh wrecks we were diving.

There is a good reason for that. It was one of my old cells! Replaced in my unit August 2005, left in a sealed bag until Easter 2006 when Digger liberated it!
