| U90 Update Apologies as my computer has been down the last two days and my backup + laptop refused to entertain dialup. The young lady is fine. She was a guest diver and had an ascent which was a tad on the quick side plus some missed stops. No question, it was on the O2 just in case and while we were ready to steam in, the helo made an appearance and off she went. Diagnosed as a minor bend she spent the rest of the day in the pot and came out about 9pm with no ill-effects, so all was well. So in hindsight a very good call. Never be afraid to call the Coastguard or get the helo out. Next day saw a later start and off again to the second sub of the weekend and the U1195. Not quite so deep and so just that little bit more natural light and even better viz. Not quite as stunning as the 90, but def worth a dive to make some comparisons and of course this one is loaded with local history. Bit of a so-so drift for the second, but didnt fancy the Luis again. Right about the skipper though. Pete is bang on with the shot and really knows his stuff and locations. All in all and considering the mishap which had a happy ending a good weekend. Tel. |
