| First the serious bit....obviously proper weighting is key to the enjoyment of diving. Unless that's done properly then you are always fighting too much negative buoyancy or fighting to dump air in order to avoid a rapid ascent. If you have been diving overweighted then get the correct weight it's like someone has taken the brakes off....as Fi found yesterday. It's really easy to do .... you just have to have the nerve to let it go....so can be done alone but can be helpful to have someone along to confirm it's okay to let it go! I am not sure that people will get the most from the DIR X weekend if time is spent trying to get weighting correct......so how about we arrange a YD Weight Watchers class and allcomers are welcome .... any interest...if so what dates would suit? We could tie this into a charitable session with a donation to the YD chosen charity for every pound dropped. Mal |

| Sounds like a reasonable idea, but Caroline wasn't planning on doing any DIR in water stuff - I think her an Fi were just havinga dive for fun - seeing as I can't get int he water at the mo.
