silvafish,sexydivebuddy and yipeediver do stoney

we met at the cove very early i.e 4.30 am early lol!!!
where we all met up and chatted about our great sport diving !!
anyway after parking up and kitting up we all decided it was time to start our first dive to the box for many months of which i had looked forward to for many days !!ok its not st abbs but ok to get wet!!
also this was lou,s first dive past the 30 metre mark for at least 6 months !!
(dive 1 )we headed off down the roadway to the bop at which point i realised that the viz was quite good for the time of year and average viz was about 5 metres which was ace !!
we started our descent down into the pit via the rope as we all decided it was better going down with a visual refference anyway our dive was based on placeing gnomes down at the box with my name on it, and that of silvafish and also one for my son whos name is now on one of the gnomes that lay below the box !! after placing our gnomes we came out of the box area and headed back up the road !! we then at 20 metres swam along the cliff over the blockhose and then a nice steady ascent as i knew that lou was getting quite low with air so came shallow? both lou and les chilled on this dive but i spent it practicing shutdowns and the like which i felt i was benifitting from untill i had missjudged my bouyancy whilst handing off a stage and nearly ended up at the surface !!!! (like a polaris missile lol) anyway safely out and a well deserved bacon cob!!!
( dive2 ) dive 2 we had planned to do the staingarth via the anchor chain so lou decided she was going to navigate for us and what a great job she did ! strate to the chain and away we went !!!
upon reaching the garth i strted fiddling with mi kit again whilst they played inside ! and then appeared back after moments inside the boayt!! at this point les thought it mite be a good idea do do some more skills with bouyancy and handing off stages and shut downs ! and completed them with a minimal level of fuss silvafish then did a sterling job navigateing us to the helicopter where the girls did what can only be described as a perfect dsmb deployment we then headed up the cliff and swam along the 6 metre shelf and out for another drink and a chat !!!
( dive 3 ) dureing the surface interval both me and les set up lesleys wing and twin 7,s for lou to use on the next dive after a few fine tuneing we got her in the water and after a few weighting issues (sorry about pockets full of stones lou lol) we got her down onto the 6 metre where all i can say i was so proud to see her achieve a goal she had been trying to acomplish for many years and thats diving in a twin set ! all in all the dive went well and can only say i was so proud to see her trying her best to fly this new kit !!! a certain inspiratin to me well done lou and now hope that we can do the diving weve always dreamt of !!! also i want to thank the other member of the 3 some les as she realy enjoyed herself today and was all smiles after every dive as was lou !!!! ps les a clamp will not fit into a cylinder without an insert pre placed lol!!! once again thank you to uyou both for a lovely day and hope that we can get the same dive on soon !!! best wishes leigh aka yippediver

yes, just a bit more fine-tuning with the harness and "away she goes"!!!!

ps. 2 bacon and egg cobs, crisps and ham cob --- and that was just for starters after the first dive!
i am a growing lad les thats all !!! and yes cant wait to get the next session of diving planned !!! and lou was an inspiration yesterday as she did so well !!!

thanx tracey for your coments as they are well recieved !!lou did very well
and are proud of her !!!

before i know it she will be fightin me into the water with her twinset !!!

and now hope that we can do some longer sea dives which will be nice !

and maybe even do a couple of courses together xxxx
