Hi Andrew,

What I was referring to was entering in clear 20m+ plus vis. We exited in zero vis as 7 divers in 2 groups had just come in and brought along most of the riverbed while they were at it. I realise people have to learn but I wouldn't suggest a cave for improving buoyancy control.

YMMV
Al

Nice report Andy!
We just arrived back home after two last Ressel dives yesterday. I'm sorry about Landenouse. We heard it would be very high (actually it was abput the same as september :-)). We dove it on wednesday: viz was really ok and we were the only divers there.....

Hey Al,

Don't get het up about bad vis from other divers, just go further into the cave than the flipper flappers, then you'll get the undisturbed vis :-)

Just joking, but live and let live------or dive and let dive lets all comers enjoy these lovely places. :-)

I'm pleased you had a good trip, Malcolm.

PS caves are probably a really comfortable place for these guys :-)

Hey I'm really chilled about it! Everyone we spoke to was really nice and we often chatted about what dives we were doing and the vis with everyone else on site. Some guys even offered us 1/2 bottle of red wine in our surface interval. To be honest it was a through away comment as I was suprised they took cave diving so lightly.

I just wanted to clarify what I meant as Andrew seems to think it could have been misinterpreted by all French cave divers!!

Those guys were great, what a Sunday... a dive in Ressel followed by lunch in the sun with a bottle of red wine There are worse ways to spend your weekend.

Thanks for putting together the comprehensive report Andy Next trip I might even bring a working light

Frase.
