Gildenburgh Dry Suit Speciality - in short..
Today was finally the grand day that I - finally - did my Dry Suit Speciality (only bought and paid for in May so about time) and this is the report... i am sorry if it is a bit detailled.. but I wanted to get it all in...

1st Dive - we went in, it was cold

surface - it was cold

2nd Dive - we went in - did skills - it was cold

surface - it was now colder (sun decided to abandon us)

3rd Dive - we went in - did last skills review - swam - swam some more - it was cold

pub afterwards - warm

but knowing you are now reasonably confident in the water in the UK... priceless...

5... which is cold enough when this was only my second time.. (and no.. I should not be used to it coming from Scandinavia... lol)

I am hoping we get a right cold spell as I want to try an ice dive just to say I have done one. Water temp at Capers today was a lovely toasty 11 degrees but wind chill made it damn cold during surface interval.
