Talking ..19th...Out in the shipping lanes... DOVER...Dec..

Its Always a good sign when your diving down Jubilee Way looking down apon a very flat sea... No body has phoned me to tell me its cancelled so it must be on.. On arrival I meet up with Roytheplumber and Paul Oliver in different stages of readness for the 1pm -ish Ropes off...

There seems to be an assortment of Dover, medway, canterbury Bsac and the lifting bag crew. Its my first visit to Dave Bachelors boat Neptune. Theres loads of room to kit up and a lift, NICE.
The weather is Excellent and no fog which is choking kent at the mo... We leave Dover for an approx 3 o clock slack hunting for VIZ. Im not sure what the wreck is called. . The shot goes out for a 38metre wreck. Myself and Royplumber drop in and down the shot line and onto the wreck (mid ships possibly)...The sound of over head shipping is amazing.. Or is it Dave...? We across the wreck looking for sea life which Roy seems an old hand at. Bagging a nice lobby, and a nice eating crab.. (Instantaneity both of these creatures are lost, in a cruel twist of fate.. Bollox. That Lobby was going to be mine..
The wreck was well broken up at the stern and bow making it hard to impossible to tell one end from another. There was also quite alot of trawl- nets over a large area of this wreck. Ive never seen the like of it.. Loads of fish..? lobsters and crabs. 8metres of bright viz., Fantastic dive alround.. Over run time of 56mins and a max depth of 38.4 metre.

Thanks to Nigel for organizing the trip.

Regards Rob..

Hms Flirt (just read pauls abit more ship info me thinks)
