Any idea of the exact water temps in Sharm, as I'm off in the beginning of Jan, so they shouldn't change that much.

Corinne
we all seemed to register 23 degrees. I was debating about dry suit and at imes wish I had. Some had them. As the other poster said it was the wind not nes the temp. A couple of days it was very windy (damaged 2 jettys in sharm which had to be closed for a day or so) and as soon as you got to the surface and then onto the boat it really hit you. It wasnt just me either as I know I feel the cold a lot more than others but most people ended up borrowing.hiring another jacket to put over the top of their suits.

long 3 or 5 mm should do you if you don't get cold too quick. instructors and DM's might be in dry suits, but then they're used to the summer. long fleecy dressing gown is a good idea between dives, get it straight on after your wet suit comes off. stops the wind and drys you at the same time.

Well I've got my full 5mm out and my 3mm overvest and my seven tenths full sleeved thermocline top...and my hood just in case

Not sure how I'm going to be able to shut my case though
