I did a dive in Pembrokeshire in July in about 4m of water playing with seals. I lept off the back of the boat and felt my zip fail (broken tooth) and the water flood in (not sure what temp it was off the top of my head) I thought as I wasn't going to get any wetter I might as well give it 10 mins and see if the seals were playing and come out when cold.

In my Fourth Element clothes I didn't get cold after 50 mins. When I got out my suit was almost full up to the knee!

hi Jim, hope you have warmed up and dried out now.

I don't think I have ever heard a buddy check including "have you zipped your suit up"
but I guess once done its not something you will ever forget again?

cheers Steven
