Thumbs up Final dive from Nauticat (on Clan McMillan)

Went out today on Nauticat from Brighton todays to dive the Clan McMillan, turns out this was the final dive (for now at least) from Nauticat. Steve will be using his new boat ("Channel Diver") from now on.

The shot was just the main wreck in about 66m, caught on some wreckage on the seabed. Followed the wreckage & arrived at the hull, a vertical cliff going up to about 56m. Ascended onto the upper decking, found a porthole with glass intact, well secured to some steel plate, it's still there, left it for the brass monkeys

It was fairly dark (make that "very") on the wreck & viz was only about 1m. Lots of crud in the water & quite green once on the shallow deco stops.

Sea temp. was 10C.

The lift had been moved to the new boat, so we were using the ladder. This was fortunate for me, my 7's were in for O2 cleaning, so I used my pair of Ali 80's instead

A good day out, flattish sea & sunny above the water.

Looking forward to using Steve's new boat next time.

JT
