The two are very simillar and are considered equivalent but there are some differences; - BSAC ERD covers up to 80% whilst TDI Deco isn't a gas course (which is why it is often combined with Adv Nitrox) - TDI Deco is max depth 45m while BSAC is 50m - The list of skills to be mastered is longer and more precise in the TDI course. - BSAC ERD promotes proplanner for dive planning whilst TDI Deco is instructors discretion There are some other minor differences but that's the main ones.

| Great write up, Steve. Well done. |

| Top report. I'm trying to think if I've seen Dianne ever wearing anything other than her underwear (ie Artics obviously). Janos

| At last t'internet access........... Well, where do I begin - after such a comprehensive report by ‘good’ buddy Steve there is not much left for me to deny (whoops, I meant to write ‘add‘). The last minute change of location created an early morning shock to the system which I could say took me nearly three days to get over (some excuse to explain my diving) however, this merely seemed to level me with Steve so that was okay then With the technicalities all covered really in the main report, and my buddy passing on his chagrin at being left without gas for what appeared to him to be an unreasonably long time (a couple of minutes at the most) I have to confess that I really, really enjoyed this course. I can honestly state that I did not expect it to be as tough as it was - and yet at the same time, the grief seemed almost manageable and the comprehensive debrief always gave possible solutions to any problems. I always enjoy diving with Steve and his wry humour just makes the day fly however, the charming Cat is still wondering about the odd couple described now as ‘Fat Steve’ and ‘The richest woman in Norfolk’ and hoping perhaps that her memories will fade………. Thanks again to Mark TUB Powell, who would probably not look too wrong in blue gloves Dianne See Steve, I told you I wouldn't mention that bit where you jumped in with your zip open!!
