Aha! I've worked out what the issue with the reg is

The scubapro reg has the manufacturers name embossed in small letters right where my top lip fits. I guess there's enough friction between that and the salt water to seriously irritate my delicate lips

I'll get a new mouthpiece and try that for next time!

Now that makes lots more sense than the allergy theory. salt water is pretty good for helping things heal in the mouth though.

turn it upside down between dives for the Ivy Tyldesley look :-)

Glad you enjoyed it Dave, the Betsy is a nice little dive when you get a bit of decent vis.

Paul (PW1664) and I had a lovely dive on her last summer after the most perfect day out. The lobbies were lovely on the barbie in the evening.
