currently surfing web in the hotel Rios Amazonas Quito prior to going out for dinner with the reamining 9....mongolian barbeque and the table is booked to prevent the usual where shall we go fiasco...

all getting on the plane home tommorrow.

We went to Otavolo today to do retail therapy, i never want to see another alpaca jumper! Did buy some ridiculous wooly hats though...

Finally back home after another long flight where wa waved goodbye to ken and jane at Bonaire and i leftthe others at Amsterdam.

Just in the process of washing everything including me since i got stopped by the sniffer dogs in customs on the way through. The dog definitely thought something smelt fishy.... ended up having a nice long chat with the customs guy as i had nothing illegal and persuaded him that he ought to take up diving and go see the whalesharks at Darwin's Arch.

The house appears to be remarkably clean and tidy, i think bethi must have had one hell of a party!

Will start sorting my pictures and composing my version of the trip report today if i dont fall asleep...

Got back yesterday from a fantastic trip.

Jules will post a large in depth trip report soon, so for now all I will tell you is everyone dived well, no one had any injuries or incidents and everyone had the trip of a lifetime - how can we top this? - 16 sets of kit will shortly be on e-bay - anyone know where I can learn to base jump?

Currently sat at a PC over looking a lovely tropical garden at my hotel at the bottom of Machu Picchu. We spent about 3 hours there yesterday and it was absolutely stunning. My mate Lou went back up today to do the Sun gate, I stayed in bed

Back to Cusco later to our other lovely hotel.

Aha! it's all coming out now! The old' I drowned my camera' line so there is no photographic evidence. You lot really have been holed up in a tent near Stoney, haven't you?
