Just back from Red Sea on M/Y Valerie

Hi all
Well I just got back from a fab week diving the Red Sea wrecks and reefs aboard M/Y Valerie.
High lights of the week had to be the 3 dives on the Thistlegorm (only us on it), and the Rosalie Moller. Other wrecks included the Dunraven, Kingston, Canatic, Giannis D, Ulysses, Barge Bluff Point.
In all a total of 20 dives were on offer of which I did 19. M/Y Valerie may not be as luxurious as some others but, it was more than good enough for me, the food was fab and the crew really went out of their way to get things right. Thanks Amro, Ackmed and all the crew
I went with 4 friends, the 2 Ian’s, Greg and Anna who I knew would be good company but we were joined by Christian (the mad Dane who holds the record for the fastest motoring offence in Belgeum)....great guy and his lovely wife. John who I shared a cabin with and buddied all week good guy. And all the peeps from Shrewsbury Sub Aqua including Paul & Jane, Richard, Lindsey and ......the Canadian guy who saved my camara thanks again (sorry I’m crap with names) and all the other guys with them.
We all had a great time and I must say I couldn’t have had a better week.
One thing does worry me how ever........ being an avid wreckie I was some what surprised to find myself taking loads of pictures of fishie things and turtles........ and even found myself looking up their bloody names.......YES I’ve got myself a fish ID card!!!!!!!
Thanks to one and all ........and hope to see some popping in to have a look (couldn’t belive people had not herd of YD!)
Rustferret
I’ll post some pics when I work out how to.
