Made a quick trip to Stoney today for what's probably the last dive this year to rinse some salt off the kit. We'd arranged to meet a friend who was going to reserve us a place as he works there, but as we approached from Sapcote at 9:00am we looked down and saw....well, very little.
I've not been to Stoney on a Saturday for years now, but this was a refreshing surprise.
Two, dives: water between 7c and 8c, visibility up to 15m in places. Could see the Stanegarth from the bus and vice versa. A bit gloomy at 36m but could see even if the HID was turned off. Bumped in to almost nobody!
Home by 3:30pm.
