Who needs a dry suit?

Seems that my buddy Arfie doesn't!

I managed to persuade him to pop up to Blue Lagoon this afternoon to have a second attempt at sinking my wing following an aborted dive Xmas eve.

Arfie has a semi dry but a little bioprene, and the water temp was posted as being 4 degrees. We agreed to keep it a short couple of dives.

We dropped in and it was indeed 4 degrees, but we had a pleasant 38 minute forst dive, saw a large sturgeon, and got lost as usual in there. Vis was actually pretty good, 5 metres plus,

Apart from cold hands Arfie was fine, we had a coffee and then popped back in for another 20 minutes or so as it was going dark.

Wing was nice to dive with and I was able to check weight as intended and all was fine with 4K added.

Looking forward to the Stoney gig now, will feel positively balmy for Arfie double hard bastard if it's above 5 degrees.

Cheeky XXXXer, keep this lip up and I'll let slip to Mrs Endoman about the twinset you have hidden away.

Anyway, 4C is indeed divable in a semidry, if only I could keep my poor fingers warm I'd be invincible Might have to try them 3 finger glove things.

Arfie

If you do try those 3 finger mitts, let me know how you get on with them, as I keep looking at the Poseidon ones in Go Dive for about 20 quid.
