You can say that... at the time he wouldn't have people use pony's or twinsets - 'as they stayed down too long'... not sure if that attitute has changed by now.. He also didn't do nitrox.

The quality of food depended strongly on whether the supply boat from Guam had just been or not... we were lucky and Thorfin had just restocked at the start of our week, so we had a reasonable supply of food and fresh fruit, but the group before us had run out of all sorts of things..

Apparently the time to go is during UK winter-time. The vis was very good when we went but not as clear as say, the Red Sea.
We had generally max 15m and it was very snotty, except on the Rio which is a bit further out and one of my favourite dives there.

The Shinkoku is still covered in corals - our photos don't do it justice at all. Definitely one of our fave wrecks too and it just lit up on the night dive - stunning!
OK. It's the only wreck I got any video off and we visited it a couple of times as the corals were just fantastic.

Could nearly be convinced to go for a second trip... but unfortunately. can't affort to..

Enjoy your return trip if it comes off.

Top Trip Report

OiOi SOLO MAN!

Top report and great to hear that you and Nic enjoyed all that rusty metal, but did Nic see any fish? Glad all went well and you made it back alive.

2010 if you twist my arm I would agree to do the Nuclear Fleet of Bikini. I'll get the beers in

Looking forward to seeing you both in March with your boxes. Airport and then Hard Rock for a sesh??
