| I would think a grand is about right for a liveaboard, but you could check out Tony Backhurst as a lot of the cost will depend on the boat, flights etc. They have the wrecks & reefs around the same time for £995 on Whirlwind, so cost wise it is about right. I have been on one or two trips through aquatours, and always found them helpful and no problem at all.

| I've not used Aquatours but I know a good number of us on here have been very happy with Oonas. Northern Wrecks and Reefs appears to be about £750 inc flights. Redseadivers also have various boats out of Hurghada that week for £775-850. |

| I've done 4 trips with Aquatours and they've always been excellent, no problems with flights, pickups accomodation etc. The trips have always been well organised. Would definately recommend them |

| I've used Aquatours twice, once to Sharm and the other occassion to Jordan. Both trips were first class - happy to recommend Graham . |

My opinion is that the tour operator is largely irrelevant - go for the style of boat / diving you want then find an operator that will sell it to you - there are several listing sites which will show you most of the boats by route and type. If I was doing this trip i would look at the boat first, then cost, then the operator. TB have a good reputation, as do Emperor - the defining thing for me is the consistent quality of the boat/crew and guides - it is they who make the trip what it is... Rich
