Only had one day where it was a bit rough mostly ok but viz was not good, told they had rain the week before. Still good diving thou.

Not relevant to the OP particularly, but I was in Sharm in mid 90s when they had a massive rainstorm that flooded all the shops in Naama Bay, washed the road away and closed diving for a couple of days.
I think it was the first time it had rained for 11 years and the Egyptian technique for fixing light flex cords by drill holes in the roof was severely reviewed.
Friends who were staying at Safety land had to move into our accommodation ... oh what fun

I remember one year the week before we arrived, Day boats were not going to Tiran too rough. Just stayed inshore instead.
