Think again! I went on the Baani Explorer (sister boat) in March (really enjoyed it by the way) and kicked up quite a stir on scubaboard.com. However, since then there has been an "incident" on the Adventurer so I would certainly re-consider - until the investigation has been completed anyway. Check out this link

Shocked about news

Thanks for the link. I cant beleive our luck have paid deposit for a trip taking 18 on board the Adventurer. Have read the link and have contacted the company right away, I will let you know when i get a reply. We have our own dive center and are very strong on safety issues and it goes without saying good air is a paramount importance, sounds like they need to get a good maintaince program going NOW

As I said, we had a great trip. However, we were extremely apprehensive prior to our trip due to the response to a question I posed on scubaboard. There have been over 100 replies but the main gripe was the lack of acknowledgement by the management of the problems experienced by customers. Check them out for yourself. post is entitled "Baani Explorer - Maldives", original thread posted by myself. Good luck and let me know how you get on. PS, a SB member was actually on the Adventurer when the death occurred. He is contacting me on his return. I will send you a PM when I get his response.
