Talking Things are getting serious down Vobster way
Things took a serious turn down at Vobster yesterday, the VQCP (Vobster Quay Caravan Project) team turned up with 2 brand spanking new RB80's to help them with the big push out to the caravan...


It was nice to catch up with AL & Clare and have a look at their new toys. It was also nice to get my first cold water dive of the season done but after 50 odd minutes in 6c water I was beginning to question my sanity.

Bumped into a few other YDer's including TooTricky who hadn't noticed that he'd lost one of his cylinders from his twinset.

Hehe. It was definately 'rebreather city' at Vobster yesterday with just about every make and model onsite somewhere! As well as Clare & Al's RB80s (which I'll admit I did have a quick poke round - thanks to Clare for giving me the grand tour), I also spotted a Sentinel, a couple of Megs, a KISS and - of course - the obligatory YBODs.

you'd better up the security, i can see a turf war coming on between the DIR and RB bad boys. It'll be boltsnaps at dawn.

Nah, I have it on pretty good authority that GUE will be formally embracing mCCR pretty soon, which I assume means they will finally be dumping the RB80 SCR ('gas extender'). But who knows?
