Tulum is getting more popular all the time and may get its own intl airport in the future, lots of new dive shops have opened recently, when I first went I dived with Xibalba who do offer ccr training so o2 and other supplies should be available. Maya diving operate from the Dreams hotel but are oc only and only have 3 sets of twins. I dived with them this time, I got Budgie as a guide and we did some excellent dives. I hope to go again one day. The hotel has a great kids club 3-12 year olds, the entertainment is quite good and the food is excellent. The site is right on the beach with water deep enough to swim in and you can snorkel out to the reef if you feel the need. There are about 500 rooms but the place feels quite small and friendly.
